Not the most interesting of pictures, but here we are on the ferry Yakima (built in
1967 - an especially good year- and can hold 144 vehicles and 2500 passengers) crossing from Anacortes to Friday Harbor. We
were the third to last vehicle to make the ferry. In fact, we were told it was sold out (which would have meant a 4 hour wait until the next ferry).
I was passing cars left and right driving to Anacortes to catch this ferry. In fact I blew by the blue Maxima directly behind me at a traffic light. Same things
with the white Infiniti SUV behind the Maxima. Others that I passed didn't make the ferry. First come first serve.
