Interstate 5 is the main road from the Canadian border (about 90 minutes north
of Seattle) all the way down to Mexico. In this picture I see about 11 lanes of traffic. At rush hour they are
all packed. There are even a set of express lanes that run underneath downtown. The express lanes change direction
depending on the time of day. In the morning the extra lanes are used for traffic coming into downtown. In the
evening it is reversed. Just a 100 meters or so south of this picture is the beginning of Interstate 90. If you
stay on it for about 3000 miles you'll end up in Boston.
