Another famous (and moving) landmark in Seattle. Built for the '62 World Fair, the Monorail has been running ever since.
Personally I love the look of the Monorail. It has a very art deco style. The problem is the two trains are the same ones used back in '62. They
just aren't that reliable lately. In fact in the past few years the Monorail has been shut down a lot for repairs, including a fire and even
a collision. The Monorail runs from Westlake ( a shopping area in downtown) over to the Space Needle and Seattle Center. It goes right through
another one of Seattle's newest sights - Paul Allen's Experience Music Project. A funky looking museum in wild colors it also houses a science
fiction museum. Paul Allen was a big Star Trek fan.
