The Public Market aka Pike Place Market first opened in 1907. It is today one
of Seattle's most popular tourist stops. Lots of color, life and quaint shops and stands. It is fun to watch the
fishmongers and all the artists. If you like street music you won't be disapointed. By the way, the first
Starbucks opened there in 1976.
