Labor Day weekend isn't the best time to travel around the Pacific Northwest. Ferry waits are usually long. Here at Tsawwassan luckily there is a lot to see and do, but still three hours is three hours. In the foreground you can just see the Queen of Saanich. Saanich would be back about three hours later to pick us up. In between the larger and newer Spirit of Vancouver Island would pick up a load. So, at this point there were about 1000 cars ahead of us. The lady ahead of us in the Outback managed to kill her battery while waiting , while the hot rod on the right (in front of the silver Dodge Ram) was so damn loud when it started I almost thought Boeing was test firing a new jet engine.
