On approach to Aitutaki. If you look carefully you can see the runway in the upper right of the picture, just about the prop of the plane. The resort was located close to the airport; between the airport and the island immediately in front of it. The most amazing water I have ever swam in. So warm! We took a snorkle trip out over the huge lagoon you see here. Amazing fish to see. Definitely the highlight of the trip.
If you are looking for high-rise hotels and nightlife, you have come to the wrong place. If you are looking for paradise, this is the place.
